The 2022 Bird Walks & Talks event schedule is now available and we’ve added more hands-on fun this summer with additional Book & Craft activities. Join us this Spring through Fall for a variety of Chirp’s nature-themed Walks, Talks, and Craft presentations. These events are hosted in person at Chirp’s wild bird store in the Big Bear Lake Village.

In-Person Wild Bird Walks
Chirp’s Wild Bird Walks are scheduled every 1st Saturday of the month, May through October, and leave Chirp at 8am PDT:

In-Person Nature Talks
Chirp’s Nature Talks are scheduled every 2nd Saturday of the month, May through October, and are held in Chirp’s Backyard at 7pm PDT:

- June 11 – Nature Talk: The Past & Present Of SoCal’s Wild Birds
- July 9 – Nature Talk: Birds In My Backyard

Book & Craft
Chirp’s Book & Craft are scheduled every 3rd Saturday of the month, May through October, and are held in Chirp’s Backyard at 11am PDT:

- June 18 – Build A Bee Home With Chirp
- July 16 – Build a Bird Feeder
- August 20 – Build a Bird House
