- Starting from Chirp (578 Bonanza Trail, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315)
- Head north on Bonanza Trail toward Big Bear Blvd
- Make a right onto Big Bear Blvd
- Turn left onto Stanfield Cutoff
- Go left onto CA-38 E
- Turn left onto North Shore Lane
- Turn left and park inside the Meadows Edge Picnic Area (40751 N Shore Ln, Fawnskin, CA 92333)
- Walk down to the end of the parking lot on the left
- The trailhead begins as a paved path headed towards the East
- (If the parking lot is closed, park at the dirt lot on the rigth of North Shore Lane and walk to the trailhead)
