Chirp Nature Center remains committed to providing the best support possible while always taking precautions to protect customers and employees. We continue to monitor the rapidly evolving conditions and follow guidance from Federal, State and local government agencies to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19). We also anticipate restrictions on the movement of goods, individuals, and our ability to conduct business as usual. BUT we also feel strongly that there are things we can do to lighten our spirits and stay connected. Here are some ways we are helping:
We remain open, ready to help
As long as conditions allow, we are committed to being available during our regular hours, everyday from 10am to 6pm. Our shop is currently open for limited public retail, and we continue to operate virtually online and over the phone. We still make it quick and easy to get the wild bird supplies you need, with or without physical interaction as preferred, always respectful of health orders. Choose contactless curb-side pick up, or in-store shopping that is sanitized, distanced & masked. We put the health and safety of our employees and customers first. We also encourage your questions, comments, and orders via telephone, email, and website.
Look outside, get outside, feeding & watching the birds
Take a moment or two to disconnect from your digital devices and reconnect to nature. Turn off the cable news, look out the window, and behold nature’s wonder as it unfolds before you at the bird feeder. As Health experts recommend, take a calming walk outside in the fresh air, observing nature, and watching birds. Can you identify them all? Nature is proven to reduce cortisol stress levels that negatively affect our immune systems. Less stress, less disease. Which is especially important now.
Free local delivery for those staying home
For the benefit of all of our customers, 2-legged and winged, we want to help keep your bird feeders full. Chirp offers next day delivery within the Big Bear Valley, with a minimum $30 order, as long as conditions dictate. To order wild bird supplies, call, email, or go online. It may be challenging to get toilet paper, but we make it easy to get bird seed.
